Elaine Machray
Personal Shopper and Image Consultant at the Re-invention Room
I set up The Re-invention Room in Stirling in 2006 to help women dress their best so they look and feel great. But it takes more than fashion to create a wardrobe – looking great starts with understanding the person you are and having the confidence to be yourself.
After years’ working as a personal shopper for Monsoon, I knew I had a knack for combining colours and styles to create great outfits for my clientele. But I also realised then just how many women found clothes shopping a stressful or frustrating experience, were fed up with how they looked or lacked confidence in their body image.
I encourage my clients to step out of their comfort zone and try new things - it really can transform the way a woman feels about herself and, in some instances, the confidence a woman gains can be practically life-changing. I know - after having my two children, I found myself in a style rut. Working with clothes gave me the confidence to re-invent my personal style and ultimately inspired me to found the Re-Invention Room.
