The Re-Invention Room

Anna red jacketThis week I was delighted to launch my new business networking group in Stirling She's in Biz.

My aim is to build a collaborative community of business women in Central Scotland whilst at the same time having some fun and a spot of lunch.

Pictured is guest speaker and NLP coach Anna Bell who did a short presentation about mindset and motivation - it was fab!

The next event is 5/9/18.

What a week it's been with more shop closures on the high street! What are your thoughts?

I'm trying to get feedback about what particularly 40+ women want in terms of clothes shopping - email me This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Always remember I have my boutique of Captain Tortue French clothing here in the studio for you to browse any time.

We had a great Swish Night here in the studio on Friday although it was a bit quieter than usual.

This gave it a really personal feel and I got to speak to eveyone and help them choose their 'swaps'.

The next one will be after Summer.

Speaking of which have you got your wardrobe sorted now it is here?

I have some fantastic Captain Tortue clothes here in the studio that you can view any time by appointment with absolutely no obligation to buy.

Just give me a call or check them out here.

It's great to have had at least a few days recently of good sunny weather here in Scotland and we can only keep our fingers crossed that we have lots more...

How are you finding reorganising your Summer wardrobe? Do you need some help?

It's good to have your seasonal clothes to hand and put away your Winter ones for now so that  you can put your outfits together really quickly and effectively.

A change of season is usually the best time to give yourself a mini Wardrobe Workout and get rid of those items you never wear which are clogging it up.

I'm having my Swish Night here in the studio on Friday May 11 2018 so this is your perfect opportunity to swap those clothes that are in great condition, that you no longer wear, for some thing better.

Yesterday I was working with the Thrive group of ladies in Stirling (above) helping them with their best colours and styles for their shape.

Their mission is to reinvent themselves and their confidence, and I think wearing the right shapes and styles can really help with this.

Well it's hardly Summer here in Scotland but we can't escape the fact that the shops are already filled with Summer style and colours!

Yellow is the colour that dominates this season, the key really is how to wear it.

Yellow is our Happy Colour but not everyone suits it. I will be talking about how to wear it well at my Captain Tortue Fashion Show on Friday April 30 2018.

My Captain Tortue boutique is here waiting for you to view in the studio any time - a chance for you to shop in peace and try things on with my expert advice on hand.

The clothes are elegant yet very wearable. They are French and very chic.

View here.

me and Amber

Well just as I was getting into talkng about colour and style for 2018 the Beast from the East arrived here in Central Scotland!

Thank goodness I arranged my Fashion Show for last Friday and not this one!

We had a great night - the models were fabulous - all different shapes and sizes and all with fun personalities to entertain the guests.

The Captain Tortue clothes are wonderful this season - unique and feminine styles and great quality-you can view in the studio any time.

I am pictured with model and Pilates client Amber Armstrong.
